....rushing to arrive
before magic hour....crossing a dessert valley on a highway between
two mountain ranges...small dust tornados stirred on the plain at the
same moment that beams of light shot down between fast moving clouds...sped
up to get a shot, and got it just before the clouds vanished. It occurred
to me that for last 10,000 miles, for the most part, I had been chasing
light around, and that camera and a lightly packed car was the best
way to render these moments. I was excited by light, the luck of it,
the planning, the traveling, the chase...the Giclee prints.. |
